Orange Cove, California - Mary Gutierrez, also known as Alice Gutierrez, passed away on January 15, 2023, at the age of 66. She was born in Reedley, California on May 4, 1956, to Antonio Tuson and Virginia Cabral. Mary is survived by her husband, Ruben; daughters, Celena and Felicia Gutierrez; sons, Dave, Nicolas, and Christopher Gutierrez; 10 grandchildren; her mother, Virginia Cabral and sisters, Anita Rodriguez and Lisa Dotson. She is preceded in death by her father, Antonio Tuson.
Mary grew up in Orange Cove where she met her husband, Ruben, and raised their children. She worked at the Internal Revenue Service for thirty years and began enjoying her retirement in 2021. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was certain to be there for each of their events. She enjoyed taking drives with her husband without a destination, whether it was a drive to the coast for the day, or to grab dinner in a nearby town.
She was soft-spoken, sweet, kind, and loving to all. She always made anyone who visited her house feel at home. Her love and kindness lives on through her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by many and loved by all.
