On behalf of Focus Home Health and myself, we all would like to extend our sincere condolences to the Strum family.
With a face of an Angel, Muriel was a positive, and strong influence on us when we came to her home. Muriel had a shine and smile each time we visited, even when she was in pain.
With her husband and family by her side, she was at peace with the Lord and her family.
May her family trust the in God that he will take care of Muriel, and Muriel will again see her family soon.
May God bless you Muriel and your family.
Sincerly, Ofelia Woodland, RN, Focus Homehealth

To Strum family, we were sorry to learn of your recent illness and death. In the midst of your grief, you have the hope that only the children of God can have......the promise and hope of knowing that your wife, mother, sister, friend and loved one is in the presence of the King. God is STILL on the throne and we will be praying that you will feel a special sense of God's presence and comfort today, tomorrow, and in the days and weeks ahead.
(Although I never had the privilege of meeting Muriel, one does not know her daughter Sandra without knowing that Muriel was a wonderful mother, and example of a wonderful Christian woman.
A special hug for Sandra & Brad, Sarah and Josh.
Love & God bless, Wanda & Ted Lindsay

What a joy it will always be to say that Muriel was a very special sister. My memories go back to some of the fun we had growing up together in Winnipeg and Shanghai. Muie, (our term of endearment we often used with her) could always keep us laughing with some of her cute sayings, the songs she made up etc. I so well remember a weekend we spent with Mom and Dad in California when we were all laughing so hard that Dad had tears running down his cheeks. Yes she could be quite a character. And now, for those of us who loved her so dearly, a void will always exist.
May God grant strength, peace and joy for you all as you each walk your individual journey of both grief and celebration.
Love from Muie's younger sister, Bev

I'm am so saddened by the passing of a very special lady and a loving Aunt. Like everyone else, I have very fond memories of Aunt Muriel and am forever grateful for the time and energy she and Uncle Don took to come to accompany my Nana to my wedding. I am also grateful for the visits they, and my cousin Sheryl, squeezed in to see my daughters and I ,while they were in the North West (despite great time restraints). My girls also have fond memories of visiting with their Great Aunt Muriel, Great Uncle Don and cousin Sheryl.
Aunt Muriel will always hold a special place in my heart. My love and prayers to Uncle Don, and cousins Sheryl, Sandra and Scott.
God bless.

Calvary Temple in Seattle, WA was my church until I graduated from college and moved away. Since I "grew up in the church," I saw Muriel often (and Don). Through we hadn't seen each other for many years, it was fun to see Muriel and introduce her to my wife, Reba, at a Calvary Temple Reunion in 2001. We were sorry to hear of Muriel's illness and very sorry to hear of her passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with Don and all of Muriel's family.

My deepest heartfelt condolences goes out to the Strum family for the loss of one whose memories will always bring a smile. Muriel will also be remembered by our loving God Jehovah in his promise of "a new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness is to dwell" (2Peter 3:13) May God grant you the strength to get through this very difficult time.

I have many wonderful memories of serving with Muriel in Women's Ministry at EvFree. While I had not seen her in sometime, I was saddened to hear of her illness and passing. We are praying for her family and will joyfully plan to attend her celebration of life.
