PEARL TILTON Obituary

Pearl passed away peacefully on Friday, October 7 2011. She was born April 12, 1920, in Claudeville, Virginia. She was the sixth of ten siblings. In 1944 she married Ted Tilton and had two children. Pearl worked as a civilian secretary for the armed forces in Virginia before moving to Florida in 1968. Ted and Pearl moved to Torrance, Ca. in 1976 where Pearl was a librarian technician before she retired. They moved to Fresno in 1987. Pearl is preceded in death by husband,Ted Tilton; eight siblings; and one great-grandchild. Pearl is survived by her sister, Dorothy Chilton; son, Todd Tilton and his wife Suzanne; daughter, Lorraine Tilton; grandson, Alec Plumb and his wife Amanda; granddaughter, Sarah Samuelian and her husband Bryce; and five great-grandchildren. Viewing will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Lisle Calaveras Chapel on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at 2:00 p.m.
