Rhoda Washburne Obituary

RHODA MARIE WASHBURNE "Rosemary" August 28, 1921 July 23, 2006 Rhoda died peacefully of natural causes on Sunday, July 23, 2006, at the Fresno VA Nursing Home. She lived in Clovis, California for the past 30 years and was active in her church and choir. Rhoda was born in Chicago, Illinois, where she became a teacher before settling in California. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Washburne of Pahoa. She was the loving mother of Sylvia Hamilton of Watsonville, Ian Washburne of Clovis, Valerie Williams of Boulder, and Tim Washburne of Fresno. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Sara Molson, Ben Hamilton, Jake Hamilton, Meghan Hamilton, Dawn Jacobi, Adora Washburne, Chandler Williams, and Annalise Williams; and eight great- grandchildren. A Remembrance and Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Villa Park Clubhouse, 1272 Villa Avenue in Clovis on Saturday, July 29, 2006, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
