RICHARD NOROYAN Obituary

Our beloved son, nephew, cousin and friend passed on into God's loving hands on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Fresno Community Medical Center. He was 44 years old. Richard passed on peacefully in his sleep, his weakened heart finally giving out. We can now rejoice that Richard is no longer suffering unbearable pain. GONE TOO SOON Richard was born in Fresno, California and remained a lifelong Fresnan. He attended McLane High School where he played football and graduated from Hoover High School. He also attended Fresno City College. While still in high school, he began working in the restaurant industry, advancing from bussing to prepping to waiting tables to cooking and bartending. Richard also spent several years as a house painter before becoming disabled. Richard always had a passion for all types of games. At the age of seven, he discovered the Dallas Cowboys and was a passionate lifelong fan. He also closely followed and rooted for the L.A. Lakers and L.A. Dodgers. He loved playing cards and watching Jeopardy. As a teenager he loved arcade games which later evolved into slot machines. This passion culminated in winning a million dollar jackpot on October 29, 2012, at the Chuchansi Casino. Unfortunately, the joy of winning was diminished by his failing health and shortened lifespan. GONE TOO SOON No one was a stranger to Richard. He wanted to know everyone and involved them in his life. He had a heart of gold and was generous with what he possessed, be it friendship, money, or his home. He was personality plus, and he will be forever missed. GONE TOO SOON Richard has a strong relationship with God. He missionaried in the Philippines with his church and aided in the healing of its natives and spreading God's word. Richard was the lamb who strayed off from the flock occasionally and brought back home by his loving Shepherd and Savior, Jesus Christ. GONE TOO SOON Richard is survived by his mother, Patricia English; his father, Hugo Noroyan; his step-sister, Richelle Noroyan; his aunt, Sonia Noroyan Shakar; his uncles Andy and Mike Noroyan; and numerous cousins. Visitation will be held at Yost & Webb Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Yost & Webb Chapel on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Ararat Cemetery. My dear old friend from high school. I was so glad I heard from you after all this time. If only we could've visited. I'll never forget you and your big beautiful heart. You're truly gonna be missed. RIP with God my friend.
