ROBERT EUGENE "Bob" LOWRY

Robert "Bob" Eugene Lowry was born on March 22, 1932, in Vanzant, MO, to Ted and Alice Lowry, and passed away peacefully at home on February 19, 2017, at the age of 85. He married Helen Louise Ash in 1951, and they would have celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on April 12, 2017. Bob retired from Fleming Foods after 36 years of service. He enjoyed roping as a young man and hunting and fishing during his lifetime. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leo Lowry; and sister, Delpha Shackleford. He is survived by his wife Helen; son, Bob Jr. and wife Teddi; son, Randy and wife Marcia; his grandchildren and spouses, Kevin and Christa Lowry, Kelley and Desirae Lowry, Stacey and Eugene Tafoya, and Todd and Sara Lowry; and seven great-grandchildren, Hannah, Kate, Noah, Stella, Dayton, Dominic, Dallen, and one due in June. He is also survived by his sisters, Pat Harris, Lola Anderson, Alice Sample, and Linda Higham; and brother, Gary Lowry. A Memorial Service will be held at Calvary Worship Center, 4581 E. Dakota Ave., Fresno, CA, on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to Calvary Worship Center; or a favorite charity.
