I knew Jumbo for a short time when I was just about 9 years old, but he left a lasting impression. As step brother to some of his close friends, I was lucky to get to meet him. I'll never forget playing football with Jumbo in the backyard and being amazed at how fast he was for his size. I remember how our house would like up with energy whenever he would come around.

I've known Jumbo since about 1976 and have so many memories growing up around the corner from him and his family. He was a great person and is missed very much by
so many people.

I was so lucky to have Jumbo as my son.
He never forgot his mom. He called every day
or would surprise me with a knock at the door.
We would play 10,000 all the time and he could not stand losing to me, and I would be called every name in the book exept "MOM"!
(LOL)We went camping and barbequeing very often. He was very special to me and I don't think my heart will ever mend.

Jumbos big hugs came from even a bigger heart. So blessed to have grown up with him. He was always a big brother to me. My protector. I will miss him from the bottom of my heart. Rest in Peace & save me a spot on the sideline ;)
