Roberta Sexton Obituary
Jacksonville - Roberta June Sexton, 88, of Jacksonville, was called to the lord on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
June passed away peacefully.
She was born on September 13, 1937, in Elvins. MO, the daughter of Elbert and Alberta Montgomery.
She met and married the love of her life, the late Floyd Sexton, Jr, on February 2, 1957 in St. Louis.
She is survived by three children, Darrel "Bud" (Patricia) Sexton of Jacksonville, Rebecca (Terry) Leahr of Pittsfield, and Cheryl Todd of Jacksonville; ten grandchildren, Tim Waltrip, Heather Williams, Joshua Sexton, Buddy Sexton, Davey Sexton, Brett Leahr, Levi Beerup, Chaser Todd, Logan Toda, Chrissie Todd, several great grandchildren.
June was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Sexton Jr; one son, David Sexton, a granddaughter Savannah Rae Todd.
June worked as a telephone operator in her early years, then worked for Osco Drugs until her retirement. She enjoyed sewing, visiting her church family and her special friends Jane and Charlotte and most of all, watching her grandchildren grow up.
Private services will be held at Liberty Cemetery. Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.com.

My deepest sympathy to sweet June's family. I worked with June's for years at Osco. We had alot of fun! I will always remember her with fondness. She was a joy to know. Heaven gained a special Angel! God speed June!

Lots of great memories of Aunt
Junie from when I was a little girl. June was petite and I remember a shopping trip when June was in the dressing room trying on a dress. The saleslady stuck her head in and asked if she needed any help. Petite June replied, No, thank you. I´ve been dressing myself for quite some time now.
Petite, but spunky.
Love and prayers to all the family. She and Floyd are together again.
