RONDA McCORMICK Obituary

After a three year battle with cancer, Ronda Lu McCormick passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at the age of 56. Ronda had a unique ability to light up a room and connect with people. A conversation with Ronda was a balance of witty comments, deep complex thoughts, caring sentiment and sarcasm, which would lead to a quick joke followed by a snort laugh, which was her trademark. Ronda is survived by her husband of 18 years, Eric McCormick; son, Christopher Ryder-Johnson; daughter, Catie McCormick; parents, Wally and Lu Ryder; sister and brother in-law, Diana and Jeff Wilkins; and extended family. A Celebration of Life will be held at Northpointe Church on Friday, August 31, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Art of Life Cancer Foundation; or Hinds Hospice. Ronda loved life: her husband, her children,her friends,her photography...she laughed often and loudly. Ronda enjoyed conversations on different topics and you knew her opinion...she enjoyed travel and shared her experiences with a big smile..I will miss her friendship but know she is in a great, beautiful place and at peace..
