Ruby Hearld Obituary

Louise was born on October 24, 1922, and passed from this life, into the open arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 2, 2009, in Fresno, Ca. Louise is preceded in death, by her dear parents; her beloved husband, affectionately known as "Bill"; her son James "Jamie"; and three brothers, Darrow, John D. and Anthony "Waco' Phillips. Her legacy continues as she is survived by sons, Robert and Douglas Hearld of Kerman, and Kenneth Hearld of Fresno; her daughters, Margaret Bames of Moreno Valley, and Carolyn Miller of Madera Ranchos, and their spouses; eighteen grandchildren and spouses; twenty-one great-grandchildren and spouses; eleven great-great grandchildren; one brother, Larry Phillips and his spouse, and many extended family members. Visitation will be held at the Palm Memorial Kerman Chapel in Kerman on Wednesday, January 7, 2009, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service and Celebration of her life will be held at Palm Memorial Kerman Chapel on Thursday, January 8, 2009, at 11:30 a.m. Internment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Laton, Ca. It´s been 15 years. The last one I saw my great grandma was 2006. My youngest son was 6 months old- I had twins that were 2, and my oldest was six.
We drove across the country and decided to meet up with the Fresno family in Bakersfield- that family knows exactly what park. We used to meet there for Easter. I remember feeling how lucky I was that I was able to get a picture with my kids, , my aunts- sadly my mom couldn´t be there- my grandma Margaret and aunt Carolyn, and my great grandmother. 5 generations.

Now with my mom gma Louise, gma Margaret and my mom gone- seeing this memory shared by my cousin Robin was a special blessing. A lot has been happening lately and I have been missing these women desperately. I know they are together and I know this was their way of telling me they are with me as well.
RIP

Grandma, thanx for letting me come and hang out whenever I wanted. I always felt secure and loved in your presence, you always let me be myself and accepted me just the way I am. I love you and miss you very much, but also I am so happy you are back home with the father. Yours was a very kind and loving soul and served the father well.

Goodbye, and see you in heaven. (But just in case I get there late, could you leave the porch light on for me)

To the Hearld Family;
We were so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. In reminiscing of the old Five Points days, Louise's name always came up with a smile on all our faces. She was such a wonderful lady and a good friend to our parents. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and may your memories of her bring you comfort.

I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I have such fond memories of her and your family. Sitting at your kitchen table after school "doing homework" while your mom started dinner. Oh I loved the smells and the sounds of laughter and teasing that came from that house. She touched more peoples lives than she knew and I for one will never forget her and warmth of her friendship. You will miss her every day but she will live forever in your hearts.

When I think of my Aunt Louise ( and I often do) My mind goes to the wonderful times when we were all together. The food, music and dancing, and all the great laughter that was present. I love her and will miss her, but she has gone to be with Uncle Bill who she loved very much. I take comfort in knowing she is with the Lord who loved her so much.

What a nice write-up. We had many good times together and she was so good to me. My sympathy to each of her family. She will surely be missed, not only by her family but all who knew her.

grandma and grandpa were the best. the happiest days in my life were days spent with them.Through all the vad times I always felt like they still had my back and when rubber met the road they would be there. I love them more than I could ever express and the world is darker now that they are both gone

To My Mother

The time has come to say goodbye
I do so with a heavy heart and with tears in my eyes

I watched you grow impatient with each day that passed
To make that final journey, to be free at last

Jesus came and touched you, as He took you by the hand
As He led you down the pathway, to your home in the promise land

Thank you Lord for my mother and that I could be her son
A part of her will live in me, until my time on earth is done

I'll look forward to the day, when I see you once again
Together forever, never to part again
