Ruby Warner Obituary

She was a much loved mother and grandmother. Ruby was born in Pima, Arizona, on July 10, 1913, and she grew up in Wilcox, Arizona. Ruby was the happiest when she was outdoors finding unusual rocks and gettin those darn weeds. She was a collector of antiques, old bottles, and Avon Decanters. Ruby's calling was to the nursing profession. She was a registered nurse for 46 years. Most of that time she worked at Chula Vista Community Hospital in Chula Vista, California. She came to the Central Valley in 1980, and has been a valley girl ever since. Ruby discovered the Clovis Way of Life in 1984, and enjoyed her twilight years on a two acre parcel with animals, grandkids, and lots of interesting rocks. She died on Friday, March 21, 2008, and we believe that she is off on another grand adventure; probably having the time of her life. We are sending a heartfelt thank you to Stacey Sagouspe, the staff of the Clovis Convalescent- Beverly Living Center of Clovis, and Asera Care Hospice for their dedication and loyalty day after day. You are a testament that there are angels among us on earth. Ruby is survived by her daughter Barbara of Clovis; her granddaughters Karen and her husband Frank, Carol and her husband Jeff, and Lynn with her rescue kitties, Louie, Susie, and Manny, all of Clovis; her great-granddaughters, and her great-grandsons Abigail, and Alexandra, Ryan and Mason. We ask that rather than sending flowers, please send any remembrances to Asera Care Hospice, or to the Clovis Animal Shelter in Ruby's name. CLOVIS FUNERAL CHAPEL 1302 Clovis Avenue Fresno, Ca.
