February 5, 1947 - September 30, 2023
Fresno, California - Steve Dunlap, the Snap-on guy, the bike guy, left us on September 30th to go join his granddaughter Gracie Rae in heaven. He will be missed greatly by his family and his many friends. Steve was dedicated to his business and customers of Snap-on Tools for over 44 years and was a mentor to so many. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Charlene, his son Aron and his daughter Tanya Calandra. Steve leaves 5 grandkids who will miss their fun and goofy grandpa Abigail, Chloe, Cassidy, Max and Rocco. Steve requested no services with a celebration of life at a later date.

I met Steve when he worked for Goodies Speed Shop in San Jose in 1968. I later worked at Goodies. He joined Snap On in 1973 and had a territory in SJ. He left San Jose in 1974 to take a management position in Fresno. I took his territory in SJ. Steve decided in 1982 to leave management and return to being a dealer. I moved to Fresno and took his management position. He was my friend, mentor and I will miss his sarcasm and dry sense of humor. When a loved one dies, the love doesn't . God Speed my friend.

So sorry to read this. He was a fun guy and great sense of humor. Always loved the candy jar and xmas goodies char made and he shared on his route each week. My deepest condolences.

Janyce and I were saddened by the news of Steve´s passing and express our deepest sympathies to his family. Behind Steve´s stoic facade was a fun loving, gentle man. I personally enjoyed his sense of humor.
