Steven Hawkins Obituary

STEVEN W. HAWKINS Steve was born in Berkeley, CA, on June 23, 1954. He died in Visalia, CA, on Friday, November 11, 2005. Steve graduated from Bullard High School in Fresno in 1972. He attended the United State Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, CO, and the University of California, San Diego. In recent years he was employed by Land O Lakes in Tulare, CA. He is survived by his parents, Herb and Eleanor Hawkins of Visalia; his sister, Linda Persson and her husband, Dr. Torbjorn Persson of Snohomish, WA; and brother, Dr. David Hawkins and his wife Keri of Davis, CA. A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church in Visalia on Saturday, November 26, 2005, at 11:00 a.m.

I was a sophomore when Steve was a senior. I was his backup at quarterback. He was a gracious guy and a solid role model.

I just saw this I can't believe it. He was a good friend back in San Mateo California he lived across the street from me. So sad to see this.. My heart goes out to his Mom and Dad and friends.
