UNAIZA HAYAT Obituary
Dr. Hayat is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hayat, siblings, Sumera, Aamer and Aatif, brother-in-law Jeff, sister-in-law Amy, nephew Ilyas, and nieces Alya and Sonia.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Islamic Cultural Center 2111 E Nees Avenue, Fresno, CA 93720, on August 14, 2014, at 6:00 p.m.

Sweet Lady, you were the epitome of grace and kindness. I remember the first day I came into your office, irate at my situation, and how your gentleness and compassionate nature wrapped around me like a blanket, and calmed me (Proverbs 15:1). Thank you for being a tremendous source of light and inspiration to so many. You have left behind many; we will continue to love you for touching our lives in such magnanimous ways. I will keep everyone in my prayers. On Monday, 8/25 my twins will be one year old. I came to Dr. Hayat with fertility struggles and with the help of months of acupuncture, finally became pregnant. Although I only knew her a short time, it was long enough to know what an amazing healer and talent she was. I will FOREVER have a special place in my heart for her and will continue to think of her often.

To the staff..family of Dr. Hayatt..I was stunned to get the news of her death...she was a tremendous person...so accepting..kind..bright..caring...and a healer. Words cannot express the emptiness the death of Dr. Hayat has left in my life. I will miss so much: her pretty smile, the positive encouragements she bestowed on you, and her compassion and concern she expressed. I always left her office inspired to do better, which has me going these 84 years. Dr. Hayat has blessed so many countless lives.

Monday as I read Dr. Hayat had passed away, I couldn't believe what I was reading. She was truly a wonderful doctor who cared about your wellness on all levels. Unaiza was one of a kind. It's been more than twenty years since the last time we spoke, but in reading everyone's comments it is easy to see that she was still the same person I knew during our college years: kind, warm, and with a smile that would light up a room. I am deeply saddened by her loss, and my thoughts go out to her family. I cannot imagine the extent of your pain, and I only hope that you find a measure of solace in realizing what she meant to so many.

I knew Dr Hayat personally as she was my personal doctor for 12 plus years. She saw me through some very difficult life changes and always encouraged me. I cannot believe this young woman full of energy just died! I knew her in the ICCF as a motivated active member but didn't know her name. I just googled it and found her picture. Althought I didn't personally know her, I couldn't help cry! Life is so inpredictable! I wish patience and peace to her parents and siblings. May she rest in peace. I will miss her trememdously. She was an angel. I changed doctors just to be a patient of Dr. Hyatt. She improved my health in the short time I was with her than the other doctors I've had in the past. I loved her as a friend and as my doctor. The sweetest lady that walked the earth.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hayat since she was at Peachwood about 13 years. She was a doctor who did not have her hand on the door rushing to the next patient. Dr. Hayat listened to me and made sure I understood what we would talk about. She has helped me on my journey through life. She focused on her patients' needs as she built Avecinia Wellness. I told her how much I appreciated all the classes she offered to us and how much the classes have helped me through my life. She replied, "LIFE is a journey and we are all here to help each other out." My thoughts are prayers are with the Hayat family and the Avecinia Wellness family along with the many patients and friends of Dr. Hayat.

I honestly am without words. I can't believe she is gone, I just saw her last week and she looked fine! She was a wonderful caring doctor very unique in every way. I am scheduled to see her on the 14th I keep thinking if I go she will be there with her big smile and saying how are you Miss Anne! I am going to miss her terribly. Somehow I can't conceive of my life without my wonderful doctor of 13 years always present in it. Dr. Hayat literally saved my life. What an amazing woman and doctor! She was the best here in the valley. She was always so friendly and made you feel that you were the most important patient. Dr. Hayat was truly the kindest, most hands on and best Doctor I have ever had. She would sit next to me with her medical books and my chart, not across from me, showing me everything...passages she had hi-lighted while researching my condition. She was warm and earnest and made me feel as I was being cared for by a trusted friend. She was a special person, taken much too soon. My sincere condolences to her family and loved ones. She was so much more than a healing person filled with light
and love to my family, our community and world. She was a visionary of brilliance who thirsted for solutions for the unknowns in life and medicine. She often walked briskly in her tennis shoes thru her offices greeting all... with the warmth of her handshake... and smile from her heart. Her raspy voice would often project laugher as she shared the magic of her cosmetic transformations. I can still almost hear her saying as I arrived for those type of injections and lasers... saying gleefully..."come Linda...I will make you young again...." Then how can we ever forget the brilliant young Internist that even did acupuncture! Or upon leaving her office, one day recently she offered me make-up and a new lipstick to brighten my pale skin. In recollection, I too have lost a friend.
Yes, we have lost her beautiful physical presence to this side of eternity, but are assured that with all of creation, that one day we will again see her shining and resurrected face on the other side.
