Valerian Kasparian Obituary
April 30, 1928 - February 9, 2023
Fresno, California - Valerian Lanore Kasparian was a brilliant writer and educator, a dedicated and loving mother, and a great friend. She helped start two schools in Fresno, Children's Corner Preschool and the Northwest Church Preschool. She had degrees in linguistics and early childhood education. Her passion was creative writing and poetry and she taught at Clovis Adult School and in her home classroom. Lanore loved to play the piano and created beautiful paintings. She instilled a love of music and art along with a faith in God in her four children, four grandchildren and many students from preschool to adult. Lanore also loved dogs and always had a furry companion. She is survived by her children Andra Christenson, Dana Kasparian, Mark Kasparian and David Kasparian and grandchildren Daniel Tremper, Brook Tremper, Brian Christenson and Laura Beth Kasparian. Lanore is also survived by four great grandchildren, Lee Rodriquez, Chloe Tremper, Max Tremper, and Gabriel Alma's.

I just learned of Lanore's passing yesterday. My condolences to her family. Lanore and my mother, Anne Hall, were friends for over 50 years. They had a lot in common, especially their love of teaching preschool children.
