Vartiter Hovannisian Obituary
December 31, 1931 - November 25, 2021
Los Angeles, California - Vartiter K. Hovannisian arrived in Fresno with her family as displaced persons in 1949, graduated from Sanger High School, Fresno State, and UC San Francisco School of Medicine, and practiced for 45 years as a compassionate internist with the Kaiser-Permanente Medical Group in Los Angeles.
She is survived by her beloved husband Richard, children Raffi, Armen, Ani, Garo with their families, sister Nazik Messerlian and family, brothers-in-law John, the late Ralph, and Vernon Hovannisian families.
Funeral Service, Friday, December 10, 12 noon, Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church, 2226 Ventura St., with interment at Ararat-Masis Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ORRAN (center for underprivileged children (www.orran.org) or Armenian Educational Foundation (www.aef.org).
