VERNON SCHULTZ Obituary

Vernon was born in Biola, on September 2,1923 and passed away on October 10, 2012, in Fresno. He was the youngest of the five children of Emil and Ida Schultz. He graduated from Central High School in 1941, and joined the Navy early in 1942. There he served as an aircraft mechanic aboard aircraft carriers in the Atlantic and later at Alameda NAS. After the war he studied electronics. He owned a TV repair shop for many years, and later worked on specialized video equipment. In his retirement, he enjoyed motorcycle touring and camping. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dorothy. Vernon is survived by Ruth, his wife of 63 years; his son, Doug Schultz and his wife Sandy; grandchildren, Janelle Paolinelli of Fresno, Bobby Thomson of Orland, Brian Thomson of Verdi, Nv, Michael Schultz of Chicago, Jeffrey Schultz of Los Angeles, Eric Schultz of Fresno, Laura Schultz of Long Beach; and six great-grandchildren. Following a private burial, a gathering of family and friends will be held at 2587 N. Winery Ave, Fresno, on October 27, 2012, at noon.
