Donald "Don" Wayne Grice, 88, Forest, passed away at 5:22 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022, at I.U. Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. He was born July 10, 1933 in Frankfort, the son of the late Marvin and I. Maxine (Lynch) Grice. On Nov. 28, 1954, he married Donna M. (Robertson) Grice, who preceded him in death on May 8, 2018.
Don was a 1951 graduate of Jackson Township High School. He was a self-employed farmer for over 60 years. He also served 30 years with Clinton Central School Corporation as a bus driver and over 40 years as the Warren Township Trustee. Don was a member of the Beard Masonic Lodge and Forest United Methodist Church. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Don is survived by his children, Gary (Bon) Grice, Ron Grice and Dan (Wanda) Grice; grandchildren, Shann (Cory) Dunn, Ashley (Aaron) Harlow, Brett Wilson and Kellyah (Travis) Davis; eight great-grandchildren; brother, John Grice; and brothers-in-law, Art (Shirley) Gross and Jim Neal.
In addition to his wife Donna, Don was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Jean Grice and Carol Neal.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Pastor Bob Raschka officiating. Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family 4-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Forest United Methodist Church or the Forest Volunteer Fire Department in Don's memory. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.stoutandson.com.
