Judith K. "Judy" (Crider) Wilson, 76, of Delphi, passed away at her home on Sunday, August 10, 2025. She was born in Frankfort on July 18, 1949 to Herschel Carman and Ruby (Frazier) Clark. She married Elmer Joe Crider III, he preceded her in passing on November 24, 2016. She then married Jack Wilson on June 13, 2020 and he survives.
Judy was a graduate of Frankfort High School, class of 1967. She went on to work in home health care for 32 years and as a qualified medicine aid in nursing facilities. She was a member Colburn Bible Church and sometimes attended Frankfort First Church of the Nazarene and Eagles Lodge in Lafayette. She enjoyed cooking, baking, scrapbooking, and traveling. But her favorite times were spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Judy will be remembered for her giving heart and the love she showed to everyone. She always thought of others before herself. The love she shared with others will truly be missed.
Along with her husband of five years, Judy is survived by her children, Lora (Bryan) Phillips, Jo (Terry Shephard) Wood, Elmer (Cristin) Crider, IV; stepson, Peter Wilson; siblings, Richard (Kathy) Clark and Cheryl Adair; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-five great grandchildren.
Along with her first husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; step father, Richard Clark; son, Brent Matthews; Sgt. Andrew Wilson; sister, Cathy Watterson; and grandsons, Nathan George and Evan Wood.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 10am until the time of the service at 2pm at the Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Bodine Chapel in Rossville. Pastor Dan Gottschalk will officiate with burial to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort. Memorial contributions may be made in Judy's honor to Colburn Bible Church.
