Karl L. Cory, 80, of Logansport, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022, surrounded by his family, in his residence.
Born on Feb. 1, 1942, in Frankfort, Indiana, Karl is the son of the late Maurice and Mary (Kaser) Cory. On June 14, 1964, in Logansport, Karl married Bonnie L. Miller who preceded in death on Feb. 7, 2012.
Karl was a co-owner of Cory & Cory Creditor Agents Incorporated. He had also worked as a quality control engineer for General Tire. He retired in 1997 after 31 years of employment.
Karl was a 1960 graduate of Jefferson High School (near Frankfort), he then graduated from Indiana Business College. Karl was a United States Navy Veteran and a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church and American Legion Post #60. He enjoyed yard work, woodworking, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving Karl is a daughter, Christy Gaby of Logansport; three grandchildren, Austin (Sara) Gaby, Tate Gaby and Taylor (Sam Moss) Gaby; two great granddaughters, Emilia and Eliana Gaby and his committed companion, Connie Hallam.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022, in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Thomas officiating. Burial with full Military graveside rites will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022.
Memorials may be made to the Main Street United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
