Millard Morrill "Mo" Morrison, 91, passed away at home on Dec. 27, 2021. He was born on Nov. 25, 1930 in Frankfort to Millard C. Morrison and Grace Morrill Morrison. He married Mary Ann Steele in Valparaiso on June 22, 1957, and she survives.
He attended Culver Summer School; Frankfort High School; graduated from Exeter Academy, Exeter, New Hampshire; attended Harvard University; graduated from Indiana University; and Indiana University Law School. He served with the United States Army in Korea. He was a member and elder of Frankfort Presbyterian Church. He was a member of Rotary; Frankfort Country Club; Indianapolis Sailing Club; Summer member of St. Ann's Episcopal Church, Kennebunkport, Maine; Bobby Burns Club of Lafayette, Indiana; Phi Kappa Psi at IU; American Legion; and Masons.
He enjoyed his law practice and clients, breakfast with friends at the old Southside Cigar Store, participating in Rotary and his fellow Rotarians, summers in Maine, playing with his golden retrievers Oakley and Rummy, telling stories, boats of all kinds, IU tailgates, and attending Boston Red Sox, IU football and IU basketball games. Most of all, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and attending their activities.
He is survived by son, Dr. Albert Morrison (Kristin) of Fort Wayne, children Tommy (Amanda), David (Chelsey), Peter, Caroline and Rebekah; daughter, Margo Bricker (Jason) of Lafayette, child Michael; son, John Morrison (Laura) of Zionsville, children Megan, Julia, stepchildren Ryann, Lindsey, Bennett; and son, Jack Morrison of Tampa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Carolyn; and brother, Martin A. Morrison.
There will be a Calling/Celebration of Life from 5:30-8 p.m. on Saturday, January 15 at Arborwood, formerly Frankfort Country Club, 100 Golf Preserve Lane, Frankfort, IN 46041.
