Paul Richard Mooney, 75, Greentown, passed away at 1:18 p.m. on Wednesday Jan. 26, 2022, at Golden Living Center. He was born on Jan. 18, 1947, to the late Edward and Rosetta C. (Pinnick) Mooney, in Fulton Co., IN.
Paul served in the United States Army. He was a self-employed truck driver for 15 years before retiring. He loved racing and enjoyed his time with the Kokomo Speedway Racing community.
Paul is survived by his sisters' Marqueta (Harold) McGuire, Shirley (Don) Bogan, and Linda Cunningham; special nephew, Troy (Tammy) Mooney; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Edward Mooney Jr. and Charles Mooney; and his grandparents.
A funeral service will be held at 12 pm Wednesday February 2, 2022, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Shane Guldi officiating. Burial will follow in Middlefork Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11am to 12pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America, dimentiasociety.org/memorials.
