Eunice Marie Lowes

1940 - 2017

Eunice Marie Lowes, 76, of Fort Lupton, passed away peacefully March 31, surrounded by her loved ones.
Eunice was born in Ovid May 1, 1940, to William and Marie Foglesong. She grew up in Ovid and attended school there.
On Dec. 22, 1957, she married Kenneth Lowes in Sterling. They were married 59 years. Eunice enjoyed her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much.
Her hobbies included sewing, cake decorating, collecting angels, reading, yardwork and had a green thumb with houseplants. She worked for Ball Co. in Boulder for 39 years. She was a member of Ovid Methodist Church, First United Methodist Church in Fort Lupton and Northern Hills Church of God.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Kandis Lowes-Short, of Eckert, Cheryl Antonucci, of Lafayette and Jackie (Rick) Gabel, of Frederick; grandchildren, Michael Christy (Chuck) Westfield of Westminster, Allen (Jesi) Antonucci of Northglenn, Nikki Zaobidny of Mesa, Ariz., and Ally Zaobidny of Fort Collins; great-grandchildren, Adrien Antonucci, of Northglenn, and Miles Westfield, of Westminster.
Her parents; a sister, Alice Norris; brothers, Leroy "Mike" Foglesong, Harold "Sonny" Foglesong and Bill Foglesong, preceded her in death.
Visitation and the funeral service were April 8 at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton, which handled the arrangements. The graveside service was April 10 at Hillside Cemetery.
