Charles Fleming Obituary

Charles Lewis Fleming Jr. made his transition on April 8, 2014. The celebration of his life will be at noon Saturday, April 12, 2014, at New Liberty Tabernacle of Praise; Elder Willie J. Simmons, Pastor; Apostle Melvin Crook officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Lincoln Hill Cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: daughters, Tonya (Jimmy) Grayson of Anniston, Ala., and Barbara Fleming of Gadsden, Ala.; son, Greg (Kelly) Childs of Gadsden, Ala.; a devoted grandson and caregiver, Andrew Fleming; loving grandchildren, Greg Childs Jr., Tayah and Teana Edwards of Anniston Alabama, and Za' Kaydies Easley; two brothers he was caring for, William and Elbert Fleming; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and devoted friends.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. today and the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the chapel.
Services with compassion rendered by Gadsden Memorial Funeral Home, 256-492-4366.
