Dustin Humphrey Obituary
Dustin was a graduate of Hokes Bluff High School class of 1997 and studied at Gadsden State Community College. He worked for 10 years at KTH in Leesburg. Dustin was an organ donor. He loved riding Harleys with his friend, Bo Shaw, and his brother and daddy, who were his best friends. He loved being "Captain" of the pontoon boat for "the family" as they cruised the "Coosa" and going to target practice with his brother and Bo Shaw on the family land in Alford's Bend. He was a member of Liberty Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Guy "Sawmill" and Martha Humphrey, Willie "Jerry" Croft, and special aunt, Martha "Jackie" Shaw.
He is survived by his parents, Darrell and Marjorie Croft Humphrey, Hokes Bluff; brother, Kevin Humphrey, Springhill, Tenn.; niece, Brynley Alexis Humphrey, Springhill, Tenn.; grandmother, Fannie Sue Croft, Hokes Bluff; and his dog, Blue.
Pallbearers will be Bo Shaw, Chris Sullivan, Jeremy Dowdy, Craig Sosebee, Wade Farley and Zeke Cofield.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Scott, Shane Stephens, Shane Phillips and Brad Croft.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the "Brynley Humphrey Scholarship Fund" in memory of Dustin at People's Independent Bank in Hokes Bluff.
Special thanks to Gadsden Regional Medical Center ER staff and SICU.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.

I absolutely adored Dustin. He was such a good friend and brother to Kevin. We had so many good times in Gadsden and in Nashville. He will be deeply missed. All of the Humphrey family will continue to be in my prayers. I miss Dustin greatly, but I know it doesn't compare to the loss this family is experiencing. I love you all very much. ~Leslie

I just found out that Dustin passed away. We were hired in the same day at KTH, Dustin was my first new friend and I was proud to call him my special friend. We shared our thoughts and dreams together. I called him my adopted son. I am so honered that God let me know Dustin for 8 years. I looked forward to seeing Dustin in Heaven.,

I am proud to have known such a kind and caring friend. Dustin and I worked together at KTH for three years and vacationed together in California in the Spring of 2004. I have nothing but fond memories of him and am privileged to have had him as a part of my life.
