Maxine Lancaster

Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Union Hill Methodist Church Cemetery for B. Maxine Lancaster, age 84, of Gadsden, who passed September 25, 2014. Revs. J.D. Nash and David Burnham will officiate. Burial will be at Union Hill Methodist Cemetery. Village Chapel Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lancaster was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a lifelong resident of Gadsden and a graduate of Emma Sansom High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Lancaster; son, Timothy Lancaster; sister, Catherine Boland; and parents, Luther and Minnie Barron.
She is survived by children, Wayne (Louann) Lancaster, George (Wanda) Lancaster and Judy Lancaster; grandchildren, Angie (Kevin) Jenkins, Chad (Megan) Lancaster, Heather Walker, Crystal Lancaster, Anna (Cory) Adams and Mollie Lancaster; great-grandchildren, Jace Jenkins, Jeremiah Walker, Paisley Jenkins, Malachi Walker, Olivia Jenkins and Isbelle Lancaster; sisters, Audrey (AD) Fountain, Dene Heaton and Helen Crawford; special niece, Karen (JD) Nash; daughter-in-law, Sheila (Tim) Bussey; and numerous nieces and nephews; lifelong friends, Margaret Dean and Peggy Veal; and special pet, Bobo.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Colvin, Mac Edwards, Butch Edwards, Chad Lancaster, Kevin Jenkins and Cory Adams.
Honorary pallbearers will be Did Burnham, Murray Family and Bill Williams.
