Meredith Johnson Obituary
Ms. Johnson was born March 1, 1955, in Gadsden, AL to Doris Jean (Johnson) Wettlin and the late Hugh Lee Johnson.
Graveside service will be at noon today at Williams Southside Funeral Home with Lauil Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. till noon prior to the service. Interment will be at Williams Southside Funeral Home-Memorial Park, Southside, AL.
Ms. Johnson is survived by her mother, Doris Jean Wettlin; stepfather, David Wettlin; two brothers, Lee (Kathy) Johnson, Mark Johnson; sister, Sheri (David) Jenkins; nieces and nephews, David (Becky) Swann, Leanne (Bryan) Reingruber, Kaylee Johnson, Daniel Johnson, Dustin Alexander; and a host of great-nieces and nephews; special friends, Bruce and Ann King.
Special thanks to Dr. Ashvini Sengar, Dr. G. Lowndes Harrison, Amedisys Hospice and staff.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to American Cancer Society, 1100 Ireland Way, Suite 201, Birmingham, AL 35205-7014.

Michael and I are very sorry for your loss. We enjoyed Meredith's company last summer during our time in Alabama. She sure fought the good fight against cancer. What a good spirit she shared. Bless You during this time.

What can I say Meredith? You have always had a smile on your face and loved to laugh. Heaven has gained an awesome soul and we have lost a great friend. My heart is breaking for the departure of precious Meredith. When I would talk to her on the phone she was like a breath of happiness and laughter. We will miss her earthly presence but will never forget her. My love for her is to eternity. What a loving niece.
