Ocie Story Obituary
Mr. Story was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and Sunday School teacher. He was also a Gideon and Boy Scout leader. He was the owner of Attalla Cleaners for 27 years. Mr. Story was preceded in death by his parents, Ocie and Pearl Story; and brother, Tommy Story.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Story, Attalla; daughter, Tracey (Mark) Webb, Rainbow City; grandchildren, Josh and Megan Webb, Rainbow City; daughter Vicki (Mark) Middleton, Southside; granddaughters, Kylie and Sydney Middleton, Southside; sisters, Annette (Neil) Hathaway, Southside, and Bonnie (Frank) Oliver, Glencoe; sisters-in-law, Judy Story, Gadsden, Mary Ann (Bobby) Riley, Gadsden, Jean (Roy) Bradley, Attalla, Sara Battles, Rainbow City, Carolyn (Noel) Battles, Altoona, Laverne (Eddie) Holdbrook, Attalla, Judy Holdbrook, Gadsden, and Sue (Berlin) Hyatt, Steele; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideons International, P.O. Box 116, Gadsden, AL 35902.
