Ruby NeSmith Obituary
Mrs. NeSmith was a longtime member of Heath Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ewell NeSmith; parents, Homer and Kate Howard; and brothers, Forney, Ralph and W.O. Howard.
She is survived by her only child, Sheila Freeman; grandchildren, Ron (Rene) Bishop, Christy (Richard) Baker, Stephen Bishop and Karen Bishop; great-grandchildren, Travis Bishop, Emily Bishop, Jonte Bishop, Lamont Teague and Malachi Teague; niece, Pansy Hanson; the NeSmith family; and special friends, Imo and Habiba.
Special thanks to hospice and sixth-floor nurses and staff at Gadsden Regional, Dr. Steve Sanders and staff at Davita Dialysis; and all the special family and friends who were there when we needed them.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home.
