Steven Sims Obituary
He was a former employee at Goodyear, City of Alabaster and City of Irondale. He was a member of College Heights Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents, Sam Sims and Doris (Fowler) Sims of Gadsden; his daughters, Keri (Mike) Monroe and Mandi (Jared) Clark; grandsons, Sam Monroe, Max Monroe, Jake Clark and John Henry Clark, of Birmingham; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; stepsisters, Denise (Eddie) Lindsey, Dieka (Ray) Rome, Debbie (Gwen) Guffey and Dana (Tom) Bradley.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Vaughn, Terry Mozena, Stan Stubbs, Rickey Sims, Tim Sims and Steven Dial.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made online to the Arthritis Foundation for Team Julia's Jules.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until time of service.
