Susan Burns Obituary
Susan Loved the Lord and loved singing in church. She is now singing her favorite song, "Amazing Grace," face to face with the Lord himself.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Marie Copeland; brother Donald "Donnie" Copeland; and aunt and uncle Annie Bell and T.J. Copeland.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Burns; daughter, Meagen (John Cardy) Burns; granddaughter Addison Grace Cardy; brothers Bobby (Nancy) and Ricky Copeland; mother- and father-in-law, Trina and Jerry Burns; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be cousins and nephews.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
Special thanks to UAB Hospital and Rainbow City Dialysis.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

Susan, I still can't believe you are gone. Even though we had just reconnected & had a very short time together, it felt as though we'd never been apart. You are such a kind, graceful soul & I know you are singing in the heavenly choir. I love you girl, and will miss you greatly!
