Timothy Allen Loyd (known to most as "Bullet"), 58, went to be with the Lord on January 3, 2021. A memorial service will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at 1pm. The family will accept friends from noon until time of service. Jeff Rowan officiating. Morgan Funeral Chapel directing.
Tim was born on January 21, 1962. He was a veteran were served in the US Navy from 1981-1983. He worked at Tommy Pope Construction for over 20 years and considered him a close friend. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Tim never met a stranger and always had smile on his face. He never failed to leave you with a smile on your face after spending any amount of time with or around him. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He never left you without his famous "Love ya, Bye".
He is preceded in death by his mother, Reba Gilbert; father, Ray Loyd; son, Dustin Loyd; brother, David Loyd; brother-in-law, Ross Davis; uncle, Ross Dearman; special friend, Calvin Hill; and grandparents, Ansel and Ozella Thomas.
He is survived by his wife, Renay Loyd; children, Austin Loyd, Sabrina Layfield (Tiffany), Stephen Layfield (Hailey), and Amanda Chastain; sisters, Renee (Ricky) Hill and LaVada (Brent) Elrod; aunts and uncles, Mary Deerman, Vicki (Trent) White, Steve (Elaine) Thomas and Ann Thomas; special cousin, Mike Deerman; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Corrin Davis, Darlene Davis, Ellen Jenkins, Rennie and Michelle Davis, Gearldine Parrish, Ralph and Angela Davis; special friend, Pam Golden; and a host nieces and nephews.
He will be missed by all.
