Tony McCartney Obituary
Mr. McCartney was born Sept. 29, 1966, in Gadsden. He was a wonderful father and a beloved friend. He will be greatly missed. Tony spent many years owning and operating a logging business.
Mr. McCartney was preceded in death by his mother and father, Diane McCartney Kelly and Barney McCartney; and aunt, Elizabeth Carter.
Tony is survived by his son, Jordan (Morgan) McCartney; stepson, Josh (Kristen) Allen; brother, Perry (Cathy) McCartney, sister, Carolyn (Kenneth) Garrison; brother, Shane (Lisa) McCartney; grandchildren, Laney, Jalyn, and Coley Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Hill, Junior Terry, Allen Lancaster, Tim Carter, Glen Carter, Scotty Hill, Chris McCain, Darrin Fullenwider, Billy Watts and Gary Hill.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Tony was an awesome friend and neighbor. Seems he was always willing to support my kids by buying something that the school was selling, letting them fish, ride etc... Always a smile, kind and sharing. Lots of memories of him and his family growing up. He was a good man and will be missed in Riddles Bend!

Tony was always so kind and helpful to my family. My heart is breaking that I will not see his smile or hear him ask if he can do anything to help! He will be missed by so many. A huge loss to this community!
