William Cash Obituary

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel for William "Billy" Cash, 56, of Gadsden, who died August 20, 2015. Rev. Billy Boatwright will officiate. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Home & Cemetery is in charge.
Billy was a very special person who touched so many lives with his love, kindness and laughter. He never met a stranger and always left a special place in everyone's heart. Special thanks to Teri, Jerry, Rene and Bug for always being there for him. He loved to watch Alabama football with his family and friends, he loved riding his Harley, and most of all he loved deer hunting with his son and two grandsons. He was a member of Gospel Temple Christian Center. Billy, God be with you till we meet again.
He is survived by his loving wife, Vicki; daughter, Lindsey (Chad) Lisenbee; son, Taylor Cash (Kristen Hale); grandchildren, Hunter, Heath and Haley Lisenbee; mother, Ann Cash; brothers, Alan (Vicki) Cash and Tommy (Phyllis) Cash; a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
"For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain, but if I live in the flesh, this the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. For I am in a straight betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better." PHIL. 1:21-23.
