Ray was my one and only uncle, my mother's brother. He was a wonderful uncle and person loved by many, many people. My family moved to Virginia in 1952 when I was 5 years old. Our 2 families spent many years and countless trips to Alabama/Virginia spending summers and Christmases with Ray, Betty and Debbie. Those memories are very dear to me and will never be forgotten just as Ray will not. He will be in my heart forever and in the hearts of all who loved him. My thoughts and heartfelt prayers are with everyone who is suffering his loss.
