Gaffney, SC - Anna "Jo" Williams Dye, 80, of 155 Coyl Road, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at her residence.
Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of the late Thomas "Tommy" William Dye and daughter of the late John Williams and Amy Chay Keller Williams. She was a retired LPN with the medical office of Dr. Jay Hammett in Gaffney, and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, her dog "Pup-Pup" and loved being a homemaker.
Surviving is a son, Thomas Eric Dye of Gaffney; a daughter, Kim Marie Dye of Gaffney; a sister, Brenda "Rusty" Williams of Laurens; three grandchildren, Christopher Hunter Mabry (Jillian), Chloe Layne Dye and Kenneth (Kent) Jerome Walker; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Johnny Williams, Roy Williams and Jim Williams, and two sisters, Jean W. Allison and Janil Williams.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
The family will be at the residence, 155 Coyl Road, Gaffney.
