Blacksburg - Benjamin F. Kiser, 92, of 157 Bear Den Road, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Mary Black Health System - Gaffney.
Born in Gaffney, he was the widower of Dorothy Patterson Kiser and the son of the late Robert Kiser and Lula Owensby Kiser. Mr. Kiser was a member of Garden Temple Assembly. He was veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Europe during World War II.
Surviving Mr. Kiser is one son, Mickey Kiser of Pelham, Ga.; four daughters, Jovona Kiser of Buckhead, Ga., Debra Bradley of Gaffney, Tina Blackwell of Blacksburg, and Linda Kiser of Myrtle Beach; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Kiser was preceded in death by four sons, Larry, Richard, Daryl, and Rickey Kiser; a daughter, Wanda Kiser; and a special friend, Ramona Reynolds.
Graveside services will be Monday, July 18, 2016 at Mountain View Cemetery at 2 p.m. with Rev. Danny Marshburn officiating. Family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
The family will be at their respective homes.
