Gaffney, SC - Carl Dean Maynor, 75, of 950 Chestnut Ridge Road, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Henry Arthur Maynor and Ruby Myrtle Spencer Maynor. He retired from the construction business.
Surviving is a son, Carl Maynor (Sandra) of the home; three brothers, Larry Maynor (Betty), Ben Maynor and Ricky Maynor, all of Gaffney; two sisters, Shirley Maynor Ellis and Jean M. Lovingood, both of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Brandy Maynor (Gary Frazier) and Kayla Maynor; a great-grandchild, Adelaide Frazier; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Joyce Maynor.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Blakely Funeral Home. Memorial services will immediately follow at 11:00 AM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Scott Peterson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
The family will be at their respective homes.
