Charmin Lei Wilkie, age 57, of Gaffney, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025.
Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, Charmin was the daughter of Sandra Boyd Miller (Carwile) of Abbeville and the late Charles Bruce Boyd Sr. of Greenwood. She was a graduate of Crescent High School in Starr, South Carolina, where she proudly served as Salutatorian of her class. Charmin went on to further her education, earning degrees from Clemson University and Spartanburg Community College, ultimately achieving a master's degree in Accounting.
Charmin dedicated many years of her career to Hamrick's, where she worked her way up to become the Director of Imports. She was respected by her colleagues for her intelligence, diligence, and leadership.
A devoted Baptist Christian, Charmin lived her life with faith, kindness, and quiet strength. She loved the simple joys of life - gardening, tending to her chickens, and caring for her beloved dogs. Above all, she was a loving and devoted mother whose greatest joy came from her children, Preston and Kelsey, who were the light of her life.
She is survived by her children, Preston Blake Wilkie and Kelsey Brooke Wilkie; her mother, Sandra Boyd Miller (Don Miller); brothers, Charles Bruce Boyd Jr. (Ann) and Joseph Bryan Boyd; uncles, Robert Preston Carwile Jr. and Travis Dale Carwile; nephew, Carson Alex Boyd; and nieces, Jessica Oakes and Billi Jo Enos.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Bruce Boyd Sr.
At Charmin's request, there will be no public service. A private gathering for close friends and family will be held at her daughter's home.
Her warmth, wit, and loving spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
