Kingsport, TN - Delma LeVern Burns, 74, of 250 Summerville Road, Apt. 3, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 3:19 a.m. at Durham-Hensley Health & Rehab in Chuckey, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. Burns Sr.; grandson, James Kirk Doty; her parents, Alvin C "Bud" Burns and Anna Bell Burns; a brother, Charlie Elwin Burns; and a sister, Judy Daley.
She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Burns of Kingsport, TN and Pamela Vanzant of Johnson City, TN; two sons, Lawrence E. Burns Jr. of Gaffney, SC and Darrell L. Burns and wife, Tracey of Chester, SC; a step-son, Michael Snyder of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren, Tiffany McDaniel, Curtis Burns, Bryan Burns, Chasity Doty, Logan Snyder, Danielle LaFollette, Kenny Cole, Kelly Stafford, Addison Cole, Deztanie Cole and Ben Lowe; greatgrandchildren, Donavon McDaniel, Jacob Mc- Daniel, Christian Burns, Cindy Burns, Piper Doty, Kyliee Doty, Caden LaFollette, McKenzie LaFollette, Aaleahya Menge, Gabby Gordillo, Zachary Cole and Matthew Cole; sisters Frankie Bertrand of TX and Lenora Lanier of TN; brothers John Burns and Larry Burns of LA and Jerry Burns of TX; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Curtis Burns, Bryan Burns, Logan Snyder, Kenny Cole and family friends, Leroy Politowicz and Victor Birchfield.
The family will receive friends from 12 until 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Blakely Funeral Home. Graveside services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. at Frederick Memorial Gardens with Reverend Jerry Burns officiating.
