Mr. Dennis Charles Gregory, known as "Lil Daddy," age 57, of 402 West Carlisle Street, Gaffney, South Carolina, answered the Master's call on Thursday night, March 1, 2018, at 7:22 P.M. at Mary Black Health Systems, Gaffney.
Son of Mrs. Annie Mae Gregory of the home, he was born on July 7, 1960, in Gaffney. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mr. Robert Dean Gregory, known as "Dens" and Mr. Henry June Gregory; a sister, Ms. Debra Denise Gregory; and a nephew who was reared in the home as a brother, Mr. Jimmy M. Gregory, known as "Maurice." Mr. Gregory was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was last employed at Economy Furniture Company.
In addition to his mother, left to cherish fond memories are his sister, Mrs. Lolane George (Eddie) of the home; his brother, Mr. James Gregory (Marilyn) of Gaffney; his aunt, Mrs. Lolane Armstrong (Henry) of Gaffney; two uncles, Mr. Jack Gregory of Shelby, North Carolina, and Mr. James Jackson of Asheville, North Carolina, a nephew, Mr. Jimmel Dawkins of Gaffney; two nieces, Ms. Sonya Valentine of Gaffney and Ms. Mauricea R. Gregory of Rutherford, North Carolina; a great-niece, Tanisa Valentine of Gaffney; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. "Lil Daddy" will be greatly missed.
