Gaffney, SC - Eunice Blanton Huffstetler, 95, formerly of 510 South Limestone Street, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 7, 2026 at Brookview Healthcare Center.
Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of the late Johnny Jacob Huffstetler and the daughter of the late Leslie Blanton and Eva Tindall Blanton. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School and had a great love for her family. Mrs. Huffstetler was a retired Assistant City Administrator for The City of Gaffney and a member of Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church.
Surviving is a son, Johnny Jay Huffstetler (Bonita) of Gaffney; a grandson, Philip Huffstetler (Tiffany); three great-grandchildren, William, Grant and Ethan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Huffstetler was preceded in death by a son, Jed Jacob Huffstetler; a brother; and three sisters. The family would like to extend a special thank you to nurses and nurse's aides at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center 6th floor and Brookview Healthcare nurses and nurse's aides.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Frederick Memorial Gardens with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC, 20090-6011.
The family will be at their respective homes.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Eunice Huffstetler´s passing. I have very fond memories of her and Johnny through my grandfather James H Sparks, and I will always remember their kindness. They will both be truly missed.
