Gaffney, SC - Frances Stroupe Allison, 78, of 408 Wilkie Road, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Cherokee Medical Center.
Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Jimmy Earl Allison and the daughter of the late Albert Stroupe and Inez Kennedy Stroupe. She enjoyed gardening and was retired from textiles. Mrs. Allison was a member of First Apostolic Church of Blacksburg.
In addition to her husband, also surviving are two sons, Dwayne Allison (Sarah) of Gaffney and Rayford D. Allison of the home; three brothers, Terry Stroupe, Abe Stroupe and Walter Stroupe, all of Gaffney; three sisters, Molly Greene, Nita Bridges and Diane Ramsey, all of Gaffney; and a grandson, Matthew Allison. Mrs. Allison was preceded in death by a sister, Ethelene Buck; four brothers, Pete Stroupe, Gary Lynn Stroupe, Ted Stroupe and Jesse Stroupe.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Tim Patterson and Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.
The family will be at their respective homes.
