Gaffney, SC - Reverend William Franklin Huskey was born on March 15, 1957 to the late Franklin Roosevelt Huskey and Mary Ann Huskey Moore. He departed this life on February 28, 2026 at Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain, NC.
During his lifetime he was a Minister, Private Detective, Electrician and Musician.
He leaves to cherish fond memories, eight sisters, Betty Ann Addison (Kilgore) of Shelby, NC, Patricia Huskey of Shelby, NC, Linda Crocker (Don) of Kings Mountain, NC, Mary McKinney (Johnny) of Kings Mountain, NC, Rachel Huskey of Gastonia, NC, Nancy Huskey of Kings Mountain, NC, April Huskey of Gastonia, NC and Angela Huskey of Kings Mountain, NC; three children, Franklin Thomas Liles, Miriam Denise Liles and Anthony Delon Liles (Jacqueline); ten grandchildren, Janae Simone Morris, Jayce Anthony Liles, John Theodore Liles, Zurii Deloné Liles, Elexia McKinney, Aaliyah Little, Jamar Little, Shafraviem Liles, Shakelin Liles and Quay Liles; three great grandchildren; Alyce Morris, La'nyese Sadler and Jah'reese Sadler; a host of nieces and nephews; a special friend, John Miller; and many loving friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Roosevelt Huskey; his mother, Mary Ann Huskey Moore; his children, Telly Savalas Dondrake Huskey, Francis Diane Morris, Nelsonia Patrice Huskey; his special uncle, Leonard Maynard Huskey; and his first cousin whom he considered his brother, Vincent Lopez Huskey.
God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be. So, He wrapped His arms around you and He whispered, "come to me." You didn't deserve what you went through, so He gave you much needed rest. Love your sisters.
A special thank you, Mr. John Miller. We deeply appreciate the kindness, love, and support you have shown our family and our brother during this difficult time. It will always be remembered. The family of William Franklin Huskey.
The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 11:00AM on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Blakely Funeral Home. Memorial services will immediately follow at 11:00AM with Mr. John Miller officiating.
