Virginia "Ginny" Patrick Mabry, 77, of 124 W. 9th Street, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at her daughter's home.
Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Claude Patrick and Frances McCook Patrick. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School, was retired from United States Postal Service and a clerk at Hamrick's. She had a love for cats and was an avid South Carolina Gamecock fan. She was a member of Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church, where she was a choir member and cherished her church family.
Surviving is a son, Greg Mabry (Vena) of Greenville; two daughters, Rhonda Mabry of Chesnee and Karen Denton (Brian) of Gaffney; three grandchildren, Sarah Mabry, Maggie Denton and Philip Denton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ms. Mabry was preceded in death by two brothers, Mickey Patrick and Cliff Patrick; and a sister, Bryan Parker.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bobby Morrow III officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.

The family will be at the home of Karen and Brian Denton, 167 Meadow Wood Drive.
