Union, SC - Mr. James Oliver Sisk, age 75, husband of Margie Burgess Sisk of 105 5th St., Union, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025 at the Peachtree Center in Gaffney.
Mr. Sisk was born in Glen Alpine, NC, November 9, 1949, a son of the late Robert Plato Sisk and Virgie McAllister Sisk. He was retired from Ace Bakery in Gaffney and later retired from Wal-Mart in Union. Mr. Sisk was a veteran of the US Marine Corp and was a member of Little Memorial Baptist Church in Gaffney.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, James Robert Sisk of Gaffney and Cliff Inman and wife Amber of Union; a daughter, Kimberly Bradburn and husband Robert of Union and a brother, Leland Sisk and wife Della of Garden Grove, CA. Mr. Sisk is also survived by nine grandchildren, Connor Sisk, Avery Sisk, Skyler Inman, Gabriel Inman, Caleb Inman, Brayden Inman, Alayna Inman, Kaleigh Bradburn and R.J. Bradburn; one great grandchild, Harper Millwood and his beloved fur baby, Buttons. He was predeceased by four sisters, Lola Pritchard, Shirley Sisk, Karen Smith and Mary Threadgill and a brother, Robert Lee Sisk.
The family would like to say a special Thank You to the staff and nurses of Peachtree Center and Serenity Hospice for the care given to Mr. Sisk during his time with them.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 PM Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Fairforest Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peachtree Center, 1434 N. Limestone St., Gaffney, SC 29340 or to Serenity Hospice, 302 S. Limestone St., Gaffney, SC 29340.
The family will be at the home, 105 5th St., Union.
