Gaffney, SC - Janet Johnson Biddix, 80, 510 Thompson Street, former of Rock Hill, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
Born in Rock Hill, she was the widow of the late Gary Biddix and daughter of the late Neal Johnson and Jeanette Laning Johnson. She was a retired CNA and of the Presbyterian faith. She loved her Lord and family, cooking, drawing, word puzzles and shopping. She was a very adventurous person and loved interior design.
She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Biddix Martin of Pensacola, FL; two sisters, Phyllis Black of York, SC and Patsy Wilson (Curtis) of Bluffton, SC; four grandchildren, Eric Rodriguez, Breana Bradley, Jade Hartz and Jessie Nunez-Biddix; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Eric Clayton Biddix, three sisters, Shirley Pierce, Billy Ann Burton and Brenda Johnson, and three brothers, Gene Johnson, Jack Johnson and Charles Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 2:00PM on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home. Memorial services will immediately follow at 2:00PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105- 1905.
The family will be at their respective homes.
