Jeff Spencer Obituary

Shelby, NC - Jeffrey Blease Spencer, 51, of 601 Cherryville Road, passed away at his residence on Saturday, October 19, 2024.

Born in Dalton, GA, he was the son of the late Gail Childres Benton Adams and Cole L. Spencer and the step-son of the late Dan Adams. He loved motorcycles, fishing and had a great love for his family. Mr. Spencer was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are two sons, Mickey Blease Spencer of LaFollette, TN and Aiden Spencer of LaFollette, TN; two brothers, Todd Benton and Brad Benton, both of Blacksburg; two sisters, Tracy McDaniel (Eddie) of Gaffney and Tabitha Adams of Blacksburg; and special nieces and nephews, Peyton Benton, Skyler Benton and Hunter Benton. Mr. Spencer was preceded in death by a son, Zackery Blease Spencer.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Shriner's Hospital, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC, 29605.

The family will be at the home of Brad Benton, 505 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg.
