Kathy Haney Obituary
Gaffney - Kathy Marie Haney, age 61, of 212 Cooper Street Gaffney, peacefully transitioned from this life on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late T.L. Haney and Lillie Mae Shippy Haney.
She leaves to cherish fond memories, two sons, Mr. Corey Dewayne Haney (Stephanie), Mr. Shedrick Lebrandon Haney.
Five grandchildren; Miss Ya'Coria Ke'Asia Haney, Mr. Kenneth Ke'Undrei Dawkins, Mr. Labrandon Haney, Mr. Lyric Martin Haney, Miss Ashlyn Joy Haney.
Paramour: Mr. Kenneth Lee Hollis, Eight sisters: Ms. Ruby Carol Haney, Mrs. Mary McGill (Charles), Ms. Sarah B. Haney, Ms. Felicia E. Haney, Ms. Catherine Haney, Mrs. Vanessa Dawkins (Clyde), Pastor Lizzie Bridges.
Four brothers: Mr. Robert L. Haney, Mr. Terry W. Haney (Barbara), Mr. Dean "Pop" Tate, Mr. Thomas Hollis.
Two sister-in-laws: Mrs. Sade Haney-Morgan, Mrs. Mary Haney.
Special friends: Ms. Delores Shippy, Mrs. Willie Mae Coleman, Ms. Terri Foster, Mrs. Jennifer Hemphill.
Special niece: Erica Haney Bowser.
A host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, January 22,2021 at New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. The body will liein state at 1 p.m.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, limited seating capacity.
