Rock Hill - Kaylan Nicole Moss Lamey, 44, of 2948 Brookridge Drive, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at her residence, after an extended battle against pancreatic cancer.
Born in Gaffney, SC, Kaylan was the wife of Joshua Lamey and the daughter of Louis Michael and Vera Davis Moss. She graduated Blacksburg High School in 1999 and Converse College in 2003. She was a member of St. John United Methodist Church and was the church pianist.
In addition to her husband and parents, Kaylan is survived by her son, Samuel Lamey; her brother, Michael Moss and wife, Penny; and four nieces, Katie Lamey, Mary Grace Braswell, Leighton Moss, and Caroline Moss, and one nephew, Patrick Lamey.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 from 1:00-2:00 pm at St. John United Methodist Church, 105 South Rutherford Street, Blacksburg, SC. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Don Boshell and Rev. Richard Andrews officiating. Edward Freeman, Colby Cudd, Jason Cudd, and Jon Lamey will serve as pallbearers. Interment will be in Clingman Memorial Gardens.
